Quality Childcare

The Ark recently received a 'Good' inspection from Ofsted. They said,

"Children are confident and happy in the club. They settle well in the routines, enjoy outside play and like the creative activities that have been put out by the staff, which compliments their ongoing learning. Behaviour is good, children are well-mannered, kind and considerate to each other and helpful. Staff support the children's self-esteem well with a good amount of praise and encouragement."

We have high quality staff who receive regular training.

Breakfast/ Snack

Breakfast at the Ark is a healthy choice of toast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit. After school we offer a light snack consisting of pitta bread, rice cakes, ham, cheese, honey, and yoghurts. Snack and breakfast time is a good time to catch up and find out what everyone has been up to. There is always water, milk and juice to drink. We encourage the children to wash up their own plates and cups.
